By Lowell Brown/Times-Review Writer
With
the help of "Hot Lips" and Klinger wannabes, the
American Red Cross raised about $20,000 at the second annual
M*A*S*H B*A*S*H.
The
dinner, a fund-raiser for the organization's Chisholm Trail
Chapter, which includes Johnson County, featured food, a live
band and a silent auction, as well as look-alike contests for
characters from the popular '70s TV series. About 250 people
attended the event Saturday night at the Cleburne Civic
Center.
"This
is our second year and it's grown a lot from last year and
we're very pleased," Chisholm Trail CEO Orion Bell said.
"It's a great event, something we're all very proud
of."
Channel
8's Jim Douglas hosted the event, and Applebee's Restaurant
catered the fajita dinner. In addition, The Band from
U.N.C.L.E. performed popular classic rock hits.
